I’s dreaming of the moment when you’ll come home to me.

Here’s how it’s going to work. You’re going to have to stop talking to me. Right now, all that matters is my own happiness over yours for once. I understand that “you need me”. But for the first time in years, I don’t need you.
Some people bring out the worst in you, others bring out the best. And then there are those remarkably rare, addictive ones who just bring out the most of everything. They make you feel so alive that you’d follow them straight into hell just to keep getting your fix.
If I should stay,
I would only be in your way.
So I’ll go, but I know
I’ll think of you every step of the way.
Bittersweet memories,
That is all that I’m taking with me.
So goodbye. Please don’t cry.
We both know I’m not what you need.
I hope life treats you kind.
And I hope you have all you’ve dream of
And I wish to you, joy and happiness
But above all this, I wish you love.
And I will always love you.

Lend me your hand and we’ll conquer them all
But lend me your heart and I’ll just let you fall.
Lend me eyes I can change what you see
But your soul you must keep totally free.
As of today, i’m putting everything that has happened so far in my life behind me and completely moving on. Being myself and nothing else. Letting go of everything that has ever caused me pain and just being happy for once. No obligations and no time limits. Just life.
Today, someone said to me “why are you rushing this?” and never before has a phrase haunted me all day as this one did. Why do we always rush everything? There are very few people in our generation that take their time in life and just go with the flow with every aspect. If you’re not one of those people (who also tend to make us eager beavers angry I might add), you’re probably like me. Always rushing everything you do to get to some point or accomplishment in life. But why do we rush everything to get there? No matter how long we take, that accomplishment or event is still going to be there waiting. Whether it be school, work, relationships, whatever, our generation is always trying to speed up the natural process to reach that outcome. But if we all keep rushing, we won’t have the knowledge of that path that took us to that outcome. All we’ll know is what we have and life is more than that. So here’s to taking 10 steps back and just breathing for a change. Letting life take its natural course.
